The diversity of plants, the dry climate, the sunshine... Just another perspective. I'll even take the occasional hailstorm. What befuddled me (and killed my plants) were the hail storms! So.much.hail. Now when we get hail, I just hope it's the tiny kind where plants can bounce back and not the baseball-size rockets that destroy everything (including the roof).
